Ongoing Community Events

The friendship circle

The friendship circle is a program where once a week a teenage volunteer visits the home of the special needs child. They then engage in different activities and develop a strong friendship throughout the weeks. This is a program that allows your child to bloom and gain self confidence through the volunteers help and patience. We make sure that the volunteer and the special needs child are a match. The friendship circle helps the child develop skills that one day they too will be able to integrate into our society. I would love to speak to you by phone. My number is 646-820-1066 . You can also visit our website at friendshipnyc.com. Looking forward to hearing from you.
All the best,
Dina Shanowitz
Friendship circle coordinator
